Rocco's Wish: A Cubby Bed
Just one week before Thanksgiving, Rocco’s family learned he has Level 3 autism. While the diagnosis finally put a name to the challenges he’s been facing, it didn’t make the road ahead any easier. Rocco is a bright, loving child, but he often struggles with overstimulation, anxiety, and chronic sleep difficulties that leave him exhausted and overwhelmed.
What could make an immediate, life-changing difference for him is a cubby bed—a safe, enclosed, calming space designed specifically for children with high support needs. For kids like Rocco, this isn’t a luxury. It’s a lifeline. A cubby bed can reduce sensory overload, create a predictable environment, and finally allow him to rest peacefully and safely.
Rocco deserves a place where his world feels manageable—a place where he can breathe, settle, and simply be himself. His family is doing everything they can, but the cost of a specialized cubby bed is far beyond what they can shoulder alone.
